It’s not just about the steel guitar. Tex’s memory brought back thoughts of others in my matrix, like Keith McConnel, who inspired me years ago with his ability to bring musicians together and create something magical. And then there’s Freeman Arthur and his wife, whose passion for steel guitars recently reignited an old interest of mine. These connections reminded me of an important truth: your matrix is alive, but only if you nurture it. It’s made up of your relationships, your interests, and the opportunities waiting for you to explore. If you don’t keep those connections alive, they’ll simply fade away—and so will the potential they hold.Merj Matrix is all about collaboration—bringing together our unique matrices to create something greater. But it starts with understanding the value of your own network. It’s about keeping in touch, reconnecting with great people, and being open to what they can teach and inspire in you.
